SpliceCom History

SpliceCom was founded in 2001 with the sole aim of developing and bringing to market an affordable business telecommunications system to meet the needs of today's and tomorrow's sophisticated business communications needs.

SpliceCom was founded by the management behind two of the most successful voice and data companies of the 1990's - SDX Business Systems and Network Alchemy.

SpliceCom CEO and MD Sean Harding, was the founder of both ISDN Router specialist Scorpion Logic and Network Alchemy.

SpliceCom was co-founded by Frank Bretherton and Jeremy Cooke. They took a loss making SDK from a £8 million loss making company, to a near £60 million business. SDK was floated on the stock market and subsequently was acquired by Lucent Technologies for £124 million.

Birth of SpliceCom

As a 21 century company, SpliceCom were able to work with a clean sheet of paper on which to design and market a new IP phone system. SpliceCom has also been able to benefit from advances in technology to deliver cutting edge features to the maximiser phone system. Traditionally only large blue chip corporations have been able to achieve this.

SpliceCom Now

SpliceCom phone systems started shipping in 2003. Many organisations are enjoying the business advantages provided by the SpliceCom's unique approach to "Pure IP" Business Telephony.

Following the SpliceCom launch in 2003, SpliceCom was awarded "The Most Innovative New Product or Service" at the UK's Comms Channel Awards in 2004. The award recognised SpliceCom's highly commercial proposition for the channel, delivering the innovative applications that have become the trademark of the management team who have once again put together a winning product.
