The ShoreTel ShoreGear 220-E1 is a Voice Switch for the ShoreTel Unified Communications Phone System.

The ShoreGear 220-E1 can support up to 220 IP Phones, or 70 IP Phones if used concurrently with an E1 (30 voice channels (lines/trunks) delivered on an E-carrier (typically called ISDN 30 in the UK)).

The ShoreGear 220-E1 communicates with ShorePhone IP Phones, softphones, and other IP endpoints using the Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP). It is 1U high, and half width.
