You will be pleased to learn that M12 Solutions won the big award for business held in Portsmouth yesterday evening. It was the Best Business 2008 in "The You Can Do It Awards" for M12's fund raising activities , with the main fund raising event being many of our staff cycling 60 miles around The Isle of Wight in May. M12 were shortlisted against B&Q and Specsavers and the judges were impressed with M12's ambition and follow through in raising almost £10,000 for IT equipment for the adult CF ward at St Mary's Hospital Southampton. M12's David Stephens and his fiancé Cheryl , who completed the ride on the day, with Allan Packer and his wife Debbie, who is a CF sufferer, collected the award for the business. Andrew Skipsey, M12's Managing Director says, "I am very proud of my team who put in alot of personal time to make our fundraising a success, winning this award was a very nice surprise indeed." |
