M12 Solutions purchased a performance RIB in summer 2004. Business Owner Andrew Skipsey used to be a RIB instructor when serving in the Royal Marines in the 1980's and has taken advantage of a number of "compelling ingredients" to provide an "x factor" for our customers.

Our Rib, conveniently named M12 is berthed just 5 minutes from our offices at Warsash Marine on the River Hamble close to where it joins Southampton Water. It has proved to be an awesome method of going for a pub lunch after a communications meeting at our nearby business premisis. 

From Warsash there are some great places to go - and within ½ an hours' cruising, one can be in Lymington, Portsmouth, Newtown or Bembridge. On reasonably nice days Ventnor on the southern part of The Isle of Wight is just 45 minutes away.

A bit about the boat:

• It can accommodate 10 people with 2, two person jockey seats, 2 seats in front of the console (for the white knuckle riders) and 4 can comfortably sit on the aft bench seat.
• It is 29feet long, has a 315hp Diesel inboard engine (The marine version of the 4.2litre turbo engine in the large Toyota Landcruisers) and a stern drive with 4 blade stainless prop.
• The Hull is the stepped version and the boat has the forward Lemar locker (lots of useful stowage space), with real teak for and aft decking. (So it looks great and feels nice under barefoot)
• She is equipped with Navman, large GPS rolling Chart, Depth sounder and VHF Radio. The instrumentation set is the upgraded version and the throttle is mid console.
• Performance is awesome our top speed is 62mph, she cruises nicely at around 55 even over some quite choppy seas, and in relative comfort.
• The fuel tank takes 250 litres of Red Diesel (under 50p per litre)
• M12 is fully equipped with all appropriate safety equipment and items to make a day out a pleasure.

M12 Solutions are as happy to meet with customers for account management, project and evaluation meetings at The Belfry where we have a custom demonstration suite available to show the technologies we promote. Typically we have a meeting with 6 to 8 customers between 9.30 and 11.30. Meet at Warsash Marine for 12.00 and be on the water by 12.30 after a safety briefing, overview, stow and deal with "ships husbandry". We blast to a suitable venue, for example Gunwharf Quay where Portsmouth's Spinnaker Tower is situated, and be seated for lunch at 1.15 . Back on the boat for 2.30 and speed over to the Isle of Wight, perhaps jumping the wake of an Island Ferry before returning to Warsash for 3.30.

M12 is available for charter in the peak summer period for £600 per day to include qualified coxswain and fuel.
