M12 Latest News

M12 Solutions is pleased to be able to set out it's up to date Corporate Image via our new web site. You will see as you navigate the web site that we have tried to provide detailed information relevant to the reasons for your browsing our site. The project has taken us many weeks of creating content (in between doing our day jobs) and we have decided to make the system live - probably before it is 100% ready because this version is quite clearly more comprehensive than our previous M12 site. So, if you re-visit through the next few days and weeks you will see a more complete and polished production.

The professional services team who helped us to create the site and provide us with the web management tool are Intergage. Their link is at the foot of this page. Do please give us your feedback associated with this site, let us know of any errors or mistakes we may have overlooked.

M12 has replaced a series of BT 2Mbps circuits and 1:1 DSL services we had provisioned for our Isle of Wight customers with an Island wide Radio data network. Whilst the investment was considerable, the roll out was justified on the basis of the contracts we already have in place. The service provides us with considerable increased available bandwidth for other Island-wide organisations. We expect our prices for connectivity to be more than 30% lower than BT's Isle of Wight charges. Our Isle of Wight customers also include Red Funnel Ferries, Co-Op, Isle of Wight Council and Cowes High School. We also work very closely with Island Telecom for their provision of Maximiser systems through M12 Solutions.

For Organisations on The Isle of Wight this means that they can recieve our "One Bill" for their line rentals, telephone calls and also their fast access to the internet as well as the lower point to point voice and data connectivity described above. This Island-Wide Radio Network, we believe makes us the fastest growing provider of telecomms services on the island, if not the only realistic alternative to high priced BT and "declining" Wight Cable presence. Allan Packer of M12 is an Islander which gives our new customers there a good deal of confidence, both in our committment to value and provide excellent services as he is able to use much of his local knowlege to ensure our customers there recieve a very good back up service particlarly as there are times in the year when the Isle of Wight can be cut off due to gales. For more information regarding this project or services we can provide on The Isle of Wight contact us on 0845 408 1212.

Manchester based mortgage business, The Finance Centre purchased a SpliceCom Maximiser for their 100 agent call centre which includes all the call centre enhancements of Splice Queue, Splice Log and Call Recording on the Raid Server based Splicecom Voice Platform. Their purchase for such a highly featured system came to around 40% lower in price than the nearest rival - an Avaya IP Office.  The project implementation which also incorporated in and outbound network services went like clockwork. Rob Kelly of The Finance Centre commented that this was one of the most professional projects he has ever been involved with.

City Stockbrokers, Teather and Greenwood who are now owned by Iceland's National Bank have completely refurbished their London offices, their selection of M12 for the provision of the cabling was based on competitive "out of the city" pricing as well as the fact our cable team were fantastic through the previous phase. Bridget Carman of M12 who secured the business has built a formidable Cat 6 experience through the provision for Overbury and Stonemartin of 1,000s of outlets for other office refurbishments.

One of our long standing Azzurri clients needed a mission critical move of their enormous Definity G3R which serves their Bristol Parkway Call Centre. Various BT options had been considered before a proposal put forward by M12 Solutions became the preferred route. M12 had in 2nd user stock another similar sized and vintage system which allowed a transitioned move without any downtime. Peter Steward of BT Global Solutions says "That without Andrew's help at the last minute BT would have found themselves in a very difficult situation, once again he has come up trumps on this contract"

M12 Solutions achieves another UK first. We took an order for the supply of the latest Callmedia Predictive Dialler for Insurance Dialogue, an emerging over 50's focused telephone based insurance business who are based in Bournemouth. Initially the dialer was configured for 10 agents connected to the Maximiser which serves the inbound call centre and the main business. However the concept has already proved to be so successful the dialer was quickly doubled to 20 agents with another 10 being planned shortly. M12 Solutions worked closely with Callmedia to provide a three month rental prior to Insurance Dialogue making their purchase. Andrew Skipsey says "With Callmedia being a UK product from azzurri's development team also at Manor Court we were able to create an innovative and commercially attractive deal which worked for our customers unusual implementation". M12 also provides all the network services for Insurance Dialogue.

AwardM12 Solutions were one of 8 award winners at the Splicecom Annual Reseller day held in October. We won the award for "Best Multisite Solution"  for the sale of 19 Maximiser systems to Howard Smith Paper. The systems have replaced BT Featurenet and provide comprehensive on site functionality coupled with the multi site connectivity and resilience. M12 Solutions have also dealt with all of their network services and liaisons with BT to transfer over the Featurenet  numbers. "Maximiser was the best available technical Solution for Howard Smith" says Allan Packer who won the business for M12, "Because there are no other systems available which combine one site appearance with true remote survivability." The systems span the UK with the most northerly site being Aberdeen.

What a busy 3 months! On top of some of our fantastic new contract wins outlined beneath we are continually trying to maintain high standards of response to keep our customers happy and loyal. In addition to new business wins, M12 's  recurring income has increased to over £100k per month which helps our financial position, we are going Ltd early in the New Year and we expect to have our new web site up and running before Christmas. I attended CityIT which is a supplier forum held on the cruise Liner Aurora. There are quite a few excellent new opportunities which are being followed up now. Our clients overall understanding of communications technology is really increasing. We now educate IT and other business directors less these days, as most people now understand the power of Skype  and expect all the functionality of their mobile phones to be available on the new office based system. M12 Solutions is growing. In January we are welcoming a new member of our operations team, David Stevens who will help Kevin with project co-ordination and provisioning network requests. Later in the first quarter we expect to build our sales team.
