Hampshire based telecoms firm, M12 Solutions, are proud to announce that they have won 2 major awards at the annual Comms Channel Awards held at a Gala Dinner at The National Motorcycle Museum. M12 Solutions overcame stiff competition to obtain the best reseller in their category award and then the prestigious Reseller of The Year Award. The Comms Channel Awards were held on 10th May in front of a thousand telecoms industry professionals. M12 Solutions MD, Andrew Skipsey said "Just reaching the final was a tremendous achievement when you consider how many credible competitors we have. Winning this award really encapsulates M12 solutions' outstanding performance in 2005 which has continued into 2006 helping to establish us a growing authority in the telecoms market."

 

This award is in recognition of M12 Solutions' growing reputation as a modern, dynamic, customer-centric organisation. The Awards judge's were particularly impressed by the company's work on the Isle of Wight. In mid 2005, M12 Solutions completed the groundbreaking installation of the island wide radio network designed to connect organisations. This service represents a great alternative to the higher priced BT product, whilst offering businesses on the Island variety and ultimately allowing them to become more competitive. Customers already taking advantage of the faster band width include Red Funnel Ferries and The Co-Op stores. These and many other medium sized organisations also take advantage of a whole variety telecoms services that M12 Solutions offer, ranging from the latest telecoms systems, low cost calls and their excellent "One Bill" solution.

 

M12 Solutions was formed in August 2003 as a direct result of Azzurri Communications purchasing Convergent Systems. Business owner Andrew Skipsey was a Sales Director and a main provider of new business as well as managing an account team who looked after a number of Convergent's major customers. He retains an important partnership with Azzurri although much of M12's business is through the provision of competitive network services which are an alternative to BT and others. The Comms Channel Awards were independently judged by well respected telecoms experts and is now in its 5th year.

 The M12 Sales team has increase with the arrival of Steve Bewers and David Blake. Steve will be focussing on telemarketing, whilst David aims to increase sales of the new Mitel range 

M12 Solutions are proud to announce that they are now able to offer 8Mb ASDL at 3450 exchanges with a further 1902 due by July 2006. More news to follow, regarding this offer.

 M12 Solutions reaches two sections in the finals of The 2006 Comms Channel Awards. Reseller of The Year and Converged Solution of The Year.

Clueless and Witless (C & W sometimes known as Cable and Wireless) sent a letter to their smaller customers, effectively giving notice to terminate their agreement to carry call traffic. M12 Solutions were astounded they didn't find an easier way to transfer service.

In a deal which strengthens Opal Telecomms' committment to M12. M12 Solutions are pleased to announce that it can provide a genuine tailored corporate mobile solution for existing and new customers. Opal Telecom, who are owned by Carphone Warehouse are allowing a selected number of their growing and loyal resellers the opportunity to recieve true trade prices for line rentals, connections and call minutes. This means that M12 Solutions can provide an offering which genuinley competes with 100+ mobile deals which have usually been the preserve of the direct sales teams from Vodafone, Orange O2 and T Mobile.

Andrew Skipsey, M.D. at M12 Solutions says "We will be announcing, later this month, some very attractive mobile deals where we will put forward a package to SME businesses, who we feel have been peddled alot of smoke and mirrors for years. Couple this with our ability to provide our clients with a "One Bill" which covers all line rentals, land line calls and now, mobile calls this will be a tremendous leap forward, particularly as analysis and call detail is all available on-line the day after calls were made."

M12 Solutions discovered that many of the competion's corporate deals to some of M12's bigger customers, did not demonstrate the excellent value promised. M12 has just completed excercises to create a true cost comparison analysis and discovered that M12 Solutions are clearly able to demonstrate improved value when rentals, cross network calls and group calls are included.

Says Andrew, "The only drawback we have at present is being able to deal with the current customer demand. Because we knew this offering was becoming available, we spoke to a selected number of our existing customers. Without exception, we can provide all with a great deal, though at present the lead time from recieving instructions to connection is about 2 weeks."

Fatface, the casual clothing retailer has entrusted M12 Solutions with a Platinum Cover maintenance contract. M12 Solutions is now contracted to provide round the clock and every day (including bank holidays) 4 hour support for their Callmedia Enterprise call and e-mail management system, as well as their 150 user Splicecom Maximiser IP Phone System. M12 were chosen because of its experience with both Callmedia and the Maximiser as well as the engineering partnership is M12's neighbours ANS who are gaining an excellent day-to-day engineering experience and reputation.

Fatface have a busy contact centre which supports their 117 uk stores and calls for their mail order catalogue. It is mission critical to Fatface and has to function at the busiest times, often through bank holidays and sale times (which often co-incide).

Paul Johnstone of Fatface spoke of M12 Solutions four weeks after the contract was won. "M12 Solutions service has been exemplary, many thanks." Andrew Skipsey at M12 who negotiated the deal explains that setting good first impresions is vital, part of our induction of the contact centre is the provision of free on-site consultancy and end-user comms health check. "When we undertake this excercise, we discover ways to make improvements to the operation and sometimes identify issues which have not been highlighted to the customers IT Department - we resolve these and end users also buy into the new support structure".
