What service do you require?

The type of Internet service you require will depend on what you will use the connection for. If you are a small business who only requires Internet access for a few employees and don't host IT services in-house, then an ADSL(2+) connection will suffice.

Companies that host IT services in-house such as Web or E-mail servers generally need the upload bandwidth and reliability to service your end-users and customers. This requirement means that basic ADSL services are not appropriate, and as such you will need an EB-SA, SDSL circuit, leased line or Ethernet connection. These services tend to have better SLAs and dedicated throughput.
