Multiple Lines

Does more than one person want to be on the phone at once, or don't you want to miss a call whilst someone else is on the phone, then you probably need a SpliceCom phone system that can manage the same number for all callers?
Without a phone system you would have to connect different lines/ numbers to different phones in your house.
With a phone system you can connect all your phones to the same telephone number.
Also, if you require a range of numbers for different phones in the house, a DDI range will help you. This allows you to assign a number (5555xx) to each phone. This means that the Kitchen could have the direct number 555501, the Study 555502, all the upstairs phones 555503 etc.

Have multiple extensions around your home

Tannoy/ Paging Functionality

Do you find youself running round your home trying to find everyone to tell them something? With the SpliceCom maximiser simply pick up the phone and use its paging feature to play out your voice over every phone in the home. A very useful feature!

Transfering calls to different phones

If you pick up a call that is not meant for you, instead of running round your home, trying to find the person, and then for that person to come to the phone you picked the call up from, simply transfer the call to the phone where they are nearest to. You can also combine these technique with the paging feature to tell the person to go to phone X, and then you transfer the call.

Integrate with your home CCTV system or electric gate/ doors

With the SpliceCom PCS 410 IP Phone, (soon 580G), you can use it's full colour VGA touch screen to display live camera images direct to your phone, without the need for a computer or television. The image can be displayed as a link on the phone, or triggered by an event such as a when someone presses the call button at a gate.

With this technology you can also integrate your electrically operated gate to open it from your phones. If you have a call button on your gate too, this conversation can be routed to your phones in your home, instead of a seperate intercom system.

The benefit of this allows you to manage your security from any phone in your home; it even allows you to configure the system to route these electric gate calls to your mobile phone if you are away from your home.

Phone Directory

The SpliceCom maximiser has the ability to store all of your contacts in its directory providing this information to any phone or PCS 60 partner application (computer program). This allows you to click to dial, rather than remembering or consulting a different phone book when dialling friends, family or businesses. The directory allows you to put in mobile, home, work, fax numbers, as well as further information about that contact such as email or postal address.

This ability also allows you to see who is calling before you answer the phone. For example, if you programme Joe Bloggs in the directory with number 01234 567891, when Joe Bloggs calls from that number, Joe Bloggs will appear on the telephone display.

No more remembering speed-dial numbers

The SpliceCom directory has been made in such a way to prevent the use of unmemberable speed dial numbers. No longer will you have to remember that Joe Bloggs' speed dial number is 348, instead search for Joe Bloggs' name direct from the handset, then specify which one of Joe's numbers you wish to dial.
